Minimum Age 16

Current Working With Children Certificate

A good knowledge of the Laws of Table Tennis 

TTA membership

A one-day presentation discussing the rules and regulations in detail.

Practical components regarding setup, maintenance of the table and procedures in the playing area; procedures for solo umpiring and team umpiring - Umpire (U) and Assistant Umpire (AU).

Written exam (one hour).   Oral exam (half-hour).

Post course - completion and documentation of 10 hours of umpiring.

Mentoring by authorised person whilst umpiring  four significant matches at TTWA or TTA events.

It is expected that these will be completed within one year.
