A one-day presentation discussing the rules and regulations in detail.

Practical components regarding setup, maintenance of the table and procedures in the playing area; procedures for solo umpiring and team umpiring - Umpire (U) and Assistant Umpire (AU).

Written exam (one hour).   Oral exam (half-hour).

Post course - completion and documentation of 10 hours of umpiring and documentation of mentoring by Referee, ITTF Umpire, or other person authorised by Officials Director of four significant matches at an event.

It is expected that these will be completed within one year.
